FRANKFORT — The Onekama softball
team dropped a pair of close games to Frankfort on Thursday.
The Panthers won the opener 17-13 and took the nightcap 9-8.
Onekama trailed 13-3 in the fourth inning of the first game and scored
10 straight to tie the game before falling short. |
“It was very happy with the comeback,”
said Onekama coach Phil Sedelmaier. “It gave us a little momentum.”
Nicole Slater had three hits in the
first game, Brooke Sedelmaier drove in three runs, Emily Bergren had a
double and triple while Kaylan Fitch hit a two-run homer.
Sedelmaier had two hits and drove in two runs in the second game while
