The seventh grade team started the season losing their
first two games which resulted in losing the match against the Brethren
Bobcats. The girls played extremely hard and just came up a little
short. ~Coach Bradford
The eighth grade team started their season by winning two
of three games against the Brethren Bobcats. The first game Brethren
won by a score of 21 to 16. The second game Onekama won 21-18. Onekama
won the final game and match 15-11. Great job ladies! |

The Portagers 8th grade team started
out playing MCE and won the first two games: 21-9 and 22-20. Then they
faced MCC in their second match of the night and came out a little
flat. They lost the first game 21-16 and battle back to win the second
game 22-20. It came down to the final game to determine who would win
the match. It went back and forth but MCC came out on top with a score
of 15-10. Great job ladies! ~Coach Bradford
The 7th grade team had a hard time in the first game losing 21-9, but
played extremely well in the second. They lost in overtime 22-20. Great
Job Ladies. |

Portager’s 8th grade team played MCc for a third time within
a week. The ladies came out ready to play winning the first two games to
win the match. They won the first game 21-19 and the second game
21-23. They played a third game for fun and MCC won that one with a

The 7th
graders came out and played extremely hard but came up just short in two
of the three games. The lady Portagers lost the first one with score of
25-13, they won the second one 25-21 and lost the last one 15-11.
Great Job ladies!
The 8th
girl team won one of the three games against the lady Panthers. The
lady Portager’s lost the first game 25-3. They lost the second game
25-9 and battled back to win the third one 25-13. Great Job
