The eighth grade team
ended the regular season winning their last two
matches. They faced Brethren first and came out a
little flat the first game and lost 21-18, they battled
back to win the next game 21-10, and it came down to the
last game and we won 15-9.
Then lady Portagers
faced the Bear Lake Lakers in the second match of the
night. The lady Portagers came out aggressive and won
the match in two games with a score of 21-11 for both
games. Hopefully this will give the girls some momentum
going into the conference tournament this weekend at
Onekama. They play the first game of the tournament
starting at 9:00 am against Mason County Eastern. Great
