This
was the first night of two teams, in the first game of the seventh
grade team, we won 21-10. In the second game we won again
21-10, we then played a third game for more practice to finish up a
hour of playing time and won 15-6. The girls played really well
together and had lots of fun with many cheering on the floor.
Megan Schneider scored 10 points, Taylor Mallison scored 9 points,
Janique Berard scored 5 points, Kayla Kosiboski scored 4 points,
Alexis Tribfelner scored 4 points

In
the eight grade volleyball game we won the first game 21-14, and
then won the second game 21-16. We also played a third game for
more practice and to play a whole hour for another win 15-6. Every
game we are getting better and we are out scoring many teams with
our serving. Claire Harvey scored 10 points, Haley Maser scored 7
points , Brittany Humes scored 6 points, Faith Moerdyk scored 5
points, Sierra Warner scored 4 points, Mikelle Longsby scored 3
points

In the seventh grade game we won 21-16 and then turned around
and won 21-12 for the win. Alexis Tribfelner scored 12 points, Megan
Schneider scored 5 points, Anna Brown, Taylor Mallison and Janique
Berard scored 3 points each.
In
the eight grade game we won the first game 21-16 and in the
second game we also pulled out another win with the score 21-12.
The girls did a great job and once again our serving was right on.
Sierra Warner scored 11 points, Claire Harvey scored 9 points, Faith
Moerdyk scored 5 points, Sami Tiefenthal scored 2 points, Emily

Last
night the middle school 7th grade volleyball team played Bear
Lake Lakers and won the first game 21-18, which was a close
game. In the second game we lost a really close one 22-24 and in
the third game which only goes to 15, we pulled out the win 16-14.
All three game were very close and each team was fighting point for
point but the Lady Portagers came out ahead.
# 7 Kayla Kosiboski scored 8
points; # 6 Megan Schneider scored 7 points; # 1 Alexis
Tribfelner scored 6 points; #15 Taylor Mallison Scored 4 points;
#18 Janique Berard scored 3 points. ~Coach Keith
In
the eight grade team we lost the first game 9-21, and turned around
and lost the second game 11-21. We played a third game for
practice and lost 6-15. Tonight was one of those nights that
nothing went right and we couldn't get our serves over. We did not
play well as a team. # 4 Faith Moerdyk scored 3
points; #17 Claire Harvey Scored 1 point; # 3

In
the first game the 7th grade team won with the score 21-13 and in
the second game we won again 21-15, then played another game for fun
with the score 15-6. Alexis Tribfelner and Taylor Mallison both
scored 8 points each. Megan Schneider scored 6 points for her team
and Kayla Kosiboski scored 5 points. Janiques Berard added 3 points
in tonight game and Anna Brown scored 2 points. ~Coach Keith
The
8th grade team won the first game 21-14 and turned around and lost
the second game 13-21. This sent us into a third game which we
couldn't return a serve and lost 1-15. Haley Maser scored 8
points for her team, Faith Moerdyk scored 5 points and Brittany
Humes added 3 points. Sierra Warner scored 2 points, Sami
Tiefenthal and Emily Hippensteel both added one point each for
tonight game. We play again next Monday at home against MCE.

17 WMD 8th Grade Tournament at Baldwin |
Coach's Report & Game Photos Saturday October 17 we traveled to Baldwin for the 8th grade tournament. 7th graders were invited to play with us. Bear Lake won the tournament and Onekama took second. It was an exciting day of many wins and many great plays and the girls worked really hard to make it all the way through the loser bracket to the finals. ~Coach Keith | ||
