Portagers Win 3rd Straight Game
This
morning's game against Manistee Catholic Central started out on a
positive note with Danielle "Big D" Ward grabbing a rebound and putting
it back in the hoop for an early Portager lead. MCC stayed with Onekama
through the first half. Then in the second half, following a three point
shot by Emily Pomeroy, the Portagers started to pull away and won the
game 28 to 12. Jennica Mathieu led Onekama in scoring with 11 points
followed by Jaylee Brown with 6. Lindsey Nesburg led the Portagers in
rebounding with 4 while Brown had 3. Ward led the Portager defense with
