The Portager girls showed improvement over their first game, but fell short at the final buzzer by 2 points to the Bear Lake Lakers. Both teams played evenly the whole game. Portager girls showed great defense with Sierra Hull pulling down rebounds from the center position and scrappy Brittany Willis and Elizabeth Bergren stealing the ball. Offense showed some good pick and rolls following the lead from point guard, Kelly Koon.  ~Sally Koon
