Portagers Defeat Baldwin
Tuesday October 6th we traveled to Baldwin
for conference match. We started out the first game beating them
25-9. Then in the second game we lost our focus and lost the came
19-25. We came back in the third and fourth game winning 25-17 and
25-14 for the conference match. Jennica Mathieu racking up the
points with 14 and 5 of them being ace serves, 4 digs, 6 spikes with
2 kills, 2 tips and 3 assists. Ashley Hobart adding 12 more points
for her team with 4 ace serves, 8 digs, 10 spikes with 8 kills, 1
tip and 1 assists. |

Niki Slater added 9 points
with 7 ace serves, 23 digs, 6 spiked with 1 kill, 1 tip and 1
assists. Sherece Revolt served up 6 points with 6 ace serves, 13
digs, 1 spike, 1 block, 12 sets, 2 tips and 3 assists. Diamond
Kimpel also added 6 points with 3 ace serves, 4 digs, 4 spikes with
2 kills, 1 tip and 1 assist. Ashley Schultz also added 6 points
with 5 aces serves. Kailani Buckner scored up 5 points with 3 ace
serves, 12 digs, 4 spikes with 2 kills, 22 sets, 3 tips which were
all kills, 9 assists. Kaithe dug up 12 digs in the back row.
Lindsay Nesburg had 2 spikes with 1 kill and 2 assists. ~Coach
