The JV team
traveled to MCE for a tri meet and lost to the host Cardinals 9-25 and
16-25. In the second match the Portagers lost to Fremont Providence
Christian 15-25 and 16-25. We were very sluggish tonight in all phases
of our game. Our service return was very poor which accounted for many
ace serves by our opponents. “ Being a very young team means having some
growing pains when you come up against an excellent team, which we did
twice tonight. We did , however, play hard and try our best and we will
continue to improve and learn with every game. ~Coach Keith |
