Portagers Edge Pentwater

PENTWATER — The Onekama Portagers stayed in a second-place tie with Manistee Catholic Central in the West Michigan D League with a hard-fought 59-54 win over Pentwater Thursday evening.

“It was a tough game,” Onekama coach Roger Smith said. “We’d get up by 10, and they would come right back. It was a hard-fought battle, the kids played hard and tough.”
