Mar. 2	Bear Lake Home 5:00	Tonight Onekama's 5th grade Boys opened their Basketball season against the Bear Lake Lakers at Onekama. At the end of the first quarter Onekama led 10 to 4 and at the half they were up by a score of 18 to 8 and won the game by a final score of 24 to 13. Scoring for the young Portagers was Hunter Exo netting a game high 8 points, Hunter Morley and Logan Maser each chipped in with 6 points, Jon Acton each added 4 points and Randy Pienta had 2 points as the young Portagers rolled to their first win of the season. ~Dennis Zupin
Mar. 10	vs. Brethren Home 5:00 PM	The fifth grade Portagers won a close one tonight 15-14 Photos & Report // Cheerleader Photos Randy and Caleb each had 6 points. Hunter had 2 points and Jon had one.
Mar. 16 Mon.	Brethren Home 5:00	5th grade Portagers win a third game! Final Score 18-12 Game Photos & Stats // Cheerleader Photos
Mar 17 Tues	at MCC 5:00	Tuesday we played against M.C.C. third and fourth grades. We won 24-9 in the second half. They were smaller than us so they had a lot of speed. They used team work and all that. We used team work too. I made another long shot from three feet from the three point line. I had a lot of fun at the game. ~Hunter E. Additional Writing
Mar. 18 Wed	at Brethren	We had a game at Brethren and we won. It was another close game 24-20. Caleb got fouled out but he played a great game. We won the game in the last two minutes. I made one basket in the game. I had fun at the game. ~Hunter E. More Writing
Mar.19 Thurs	Tourney	The 5th Grade boys lost to Manistee Public Schools 5th Grade on Thursday
Mar. 21	Tourney	5th Grade boys won against Manistee Catholic Central on Saturday.
Mar. 22 Sun.	at Brethren	They also won the Consolation Bracket against Brethren on Sunday. ~Coach Clarke On Sunday we played Brethren in the last game of the constellation bracket. We won so we came in third in the tournament we were all excited. We all played a great game. I had fun playing till some of the team started to yell at me. The game ended up to be 28-17. When we have to shoot free throws we could go closer to the basket that was a bonus. I had fun at the tournament I cant wait to do it next year. ~by Hunter E. We had a game yesterday. It was awesum. We won a trophy. I had a great game. ~Ethan. H. Last night we had a basket ball game. We had lost that night :( I'm pretty mad. That was the first game we lost this season. I was hoping not to lose a game this season. Well we can never win or lose at the same time so I guess last night we lost. I had fun last night. ~Matt H.
