In
J. V. action the Portagers lost in straight sets to the
Panthers 26-24 and 25-23. " Both games very very close
and exciting. Our girls played very hard and played very
well. There were many long volleys with both teams
digging and diving for loose balls. Tonight, even though
we suffered our first loss of the season, was our best
effort of the year. Our girls really battled and should
be extremely proud of their efforts". |
Katie Prielipp had
another super game leading the Portagers with 12 points,
5 aces, 19 digs and 7 sets. Ashley Schultz added 20 digs
and 6 sets. Ashley Hobart pounded 6 kills, had 13 digs,
6 points with 3 aces. Kailani Bucker had a solid night
with 3 points, 2 aces, 15 digs and 10 sets. " I can't
say enough about each and every girl on our team, they
all played very solid all over the court and played with
