JV Portagers Cruise Past Sabers 33-13;
Improve Record to 6-5
The Portagers were able to
claim a big win in Tuesday night's match-up against the Manistee
Catholic Central Sabers. The Portagers outscored the Sabers
33-13, nearly shutting out the Sabers in the second half of the
game. The JV Portagers have improved their season record to
6-5.
Paving the way for the
Portagers in scoring were sophomore Sherece Revolt with 18
points followed by freshman Taylor Hagen with 11 points. Also
scoring for the Portagers were sophomore Katie Prielipp and
freshman Lexi Howard with 2 points apiece.
Taylor Hagen led the team in
rebounds with 13, followed by freshman Brooke Sedelmaier who
ripped down 10 boards. Katie Prielipp led the Portagers in
steals with 5.
The JV Portagers will see
action next Monday on the road against the Brethren Bobcats.
