JV Hoops Top the Bobcats

Due to
the OHS "Snowcoming" dance on Saturday night, the game between the
Onekama Portagers and the Brethren Bobcats was tipped off at noon.
The JV Portagers were slow to "waking" up in the 1st quarter, being
outscored by the Bobcats 8-6. In the remaining three quarters the
Portagers perked up their game tempo and were able to outscore the
Bobcats 16-5 in the 2nd quarter, 19-6 in the 3rd, and 14-11 in
the 4th quarter.

Leading the offensive attack for the JV Portagers was Sherece Revolt
with a season-high 24 points. Also scoring for the Portagers were
Taylor Hagen with 15 points, Lexi Howard and Diamond Kimpel with 6
points apiece, and Katie Prielipp with 4 points.
Diamond Kimpel lead the team in rebounds with 10. Leading in steals
was Sherece Revolt with 10 followed by Taylor Hagen who snagged 8
total.
The JV Portagers will next see action on Tuesday, January 15th on
the road against Manistee Catholic Central.
