It was one of those nights where everyone
came out to see the Onekama Portagers face off against their rival
from up the road. The energy and noise from the crowd was
tremendous and the JV Portager basketball team was pumped. The
girls played four very hard-fought quarters, but in the end, their
shots just wouldn't fall and the Portagers were unable to come out
with a victory. The Lakers of Bear Lake outscored the JV Portagers
44-27.

Leading in scoring for the Portagers was
Sherece Revolt with 10 points followed by Lexi Howard who chipped in
8. Also scoring for the Portagers were Katie Prielipp with 4
points, Taylor Hagen with 3 points and Diamond Kimpel with 2.
The Portagers will next see action on
Saturday at noon against the Brethren Bobcats.
