J. V. Girls Drop Close Game to Lake Leelanau St. Mary's
The Portagers lost a close game to Lake
Leelanau St. Mary's in Saturday night's girls' basketball match-up.
The Portager J.V. Girls' led the game 20-11 at halftime, but Lake
Leelanau took charge in the second half and outscored the Portagers
25-8. The final score of the game ended up being 36-28, in favor of
Lake Leelanau St. Mary's.
Leading in scoring for the Portagers was
Taylor Hagen with 13 points followed by Sherece Revolt who scored
9. Also scoring for the Portagers were Diamond Kimpel who
contributed 4 points and Lexi Howard who put in 2.
Leading in rebounds for the night were
Taylor Hagen with 11 and Diamond Kimpel with 10. Sherece Revolt had
the highest number of steals with 7.
