J.V. Portagers Shock Falcons; Improve Record to 2-3

It was the kind of night high school basketball memories are made of....a "come from behind" win in the last 11 seconds of four hard fought quarters.  The Onekama J.V. Girls' Basketball team improved their record to 2-3 following a clutch steal and 2 point bucket by freshman Taylor Hagen, which sealed the fate of the game between the Portagers and the Falcons of Pentwater.
The final score at the buzzer was 40-39.  Leading the offensive rampage for the Portagers was Sherece Revolt with 15 points, followed closely by Taylor Hagen with 14.  Also scoring for the Portagers were Katie Prielipp with 4 points, Diamond Kimpel with 3 points, and Brooke Sedalmaier and Lexi Howard with 2 points apiece.  The points put on the scoreboard were a total team effort.
Leading in boards were Diamond Kimpel with 10 rebounds and Taylor Hagen trailing close behind with 9.  Hagen also tallied the most steals on the night with 10.  The Portagers will next see action on Wednesday, December 19th, on the road at Baldwin High School.  GREAT WIN LADIES!!
