The
Onekama junior varsity could never recover from a slow start and
eventually fell to a tough Brethren squad 43-30. The Portagers fell
behind early but cut the Brethren lead to 8 points in the third quarter
before the Bobcats pulled away for the win. Joe Kosiboski was the
leading scorer for Onekama with 13 points. OHS (8-4, 7-4) takes on
Walkerville this Monday at 6PM in the friendly confines of Portager
