It didn't take long for Onekama's JV to
jump out to a commanding lead Friday night against Pentwater, and the
Portagers didn't look back as they won their third consecutive game,
defeating the Falcons 71-30. Chase Callaway played his best game of the
season, grabbing 11 rebounds and scoring 15 points. Jared Miller came
up huge off the bench, recording 9 boards and 11 points. Skyler Kimpel
and Tommy Koon added 10 points, while Dan Brown and Dan Gillespie pulled
down 7 and 6 rebounds, respectively. |
The OHS
Varsity showed grit
and determination as they stormed back from 5 points down in the final
minutes to down Pentwater 78-75. Nick Bradford had 23
points and 11 rebounds. Jim Kosiboski came up with 19 points.
Jim's brother Joe moved up from the JV and scored 11 points and had 9
rebounds. Levi Capper had 11 points plus 5 rebounds. Hunter Slade had 10
points.
