JV Beats MCC 56-54
The Junior Varsity Portagers improved to
4-0 on the young season as they
defeated the Manistee Catholic
Central Sabers 56-54 on Tuesday night in
Manistee. Leading the visiting
Portagers in scoring was Ryan Miller with 28
points, six steals
and 12 rebounds. Zac Gilbert had 17 points and 14
rebounds. |
Joe Kosiboski had seven points, seven rebounds. Drew Griswold had
two points and three
assists. Chase Calloway had two points and five
rebounds. Leading the
way for the Sabers was Nick Niesen with 20 points and
Garrett Owens with 18
points. The Portagers begin the 2007 part of the
season on Friday
January 5th at home against league foe Walkerville.
