Dec. 15 Away MCE Onekama outscored Mason County Eastern in the fourth quarter to key a 62-60 win. Nate Griswold led Onekama (3-0) with 21 points, and Nick Bradford scored 13 points and added eight rebounds. Taylor Fraly added nine points and ten rebounds, while Levi Capper chipped in with six points. Dave Gillespie had five points. Jim Kosiboski had four points. Justin Sedelmaier two points. Dec. 19 Away MCC The Onekama Portagers continued their winning ways with a 64-54 non-league win against county rival, Manistee Catholic Central on Tuesday night. Nick Bradford led the Portagers (4-0) with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Nate Griswold had 11 points and six rebounds. Dave Gillespie had 10 points and four steals. Jordan Pomeroy, Tayler Fraly and Justin Sedelmaier each contributed with six points. Jim Kosiboski and Levi Capper had four points. Hunter Slade had one point to round out scoring. Jan. 9 Away Frankfort Frankfort's Max Bankston led a balance scoring attack as the Frankfort Panthers defeated the visiting Onekama Portagers in non-league action 61-53. Nate Griswold had 20 points, nine rebounds, three assists and three steals. Nick Bradford had 12 points and 11 rebounds. Tayler Fraley had 10 points and 10 rebounds. Dave Gillespie had five points. Jan. 12 Away Brethren A well balanced scoring attack led the Onekama Portagers to 89-61 win over the host Brethren Bobcats on Friday night. Nate Griswold had 17 points. Dave Gillespie 15 points. Justin Sedelmaier had 12 points. Jordan Pomeroy, Jim Kosiboski and Nick Bradford each had 11 points. Bradford led the team with 12 rebounds and had six steals. Levi Capper had five points. Tayler Fraley had four points, seven assists and six steals. Trevor Miller contributed three points and Hunter Slade had two points to round out scoring. Jan 19 Home Bear Lake Game photos & report Bear Lake defeated the Portagers 92-89 in a hard fought game. The 42 points Onekama scored in the 4th quarter is the 3rd highest on record in the State of Mi. for all classes in boys basketball. See www.MHSAA.com
Jan 23 Away Freesoil Onekama Tops Free Soil! Led by the scoring of Nate Griswold 27 points and 13 rebounds, Tayler Fraly 20 points, 14 rebounds and Nick Bradford 11 points and eight rebounds, Onekama (6-4) rolled to a 79-60 win over Free Soil on Tuesday night. Jim Kosiboski and Dave Gillespie had six points each. Levi Capper had four points. Trevor Miller three points and Justin Sedelmaier two points each. Onekama hosts Baldwin on Friday night.

Jan 30 Home Pentwater Onekama over Pentwater 64-58: Led by the scoring of Nate Griswold (24) and nine rebounds, the Onekama Portagers held off the Pentwater Falcons on Tuesday night, 64-58. Feb 20 Away Cadillac Heritage Christian Onekama 67 Cadillac Heritage 44: The host Cadillac Heritage Patroits played their best game of the year, but in the end the visiting Onekama Portagers pulled away for a 67-44 win over the Patriots. Tayler Fraly sent the game into overtime with a last second three pointer, but the visiting Mason County Eastern Cardinals prevailed 82-74. Feb 27 Away Manton Manton 85 Onekama 44: It was "Black Out" night for the host Manton Rangers as they wore their road uniforms and the Onekama Portagers supported their home whites. In the end, the Portagers headed west with a black eye as Ray Favre's 18 points and Steven Phillips had 12 points to lead the Rangers to a 85-44 win over the visiting Onekama Portagers. March 2 Away Baldwin Baldwin 85 Onekama 62: The scoring of Daniel Bowman (31) and Dominic Kelly (20) were too much to overcome as the Baldwin Panthers defeated the visiting Onekama Portagers 85-62 in West Michigan D League action on Friday night.
