Despite going
into a game where their opponent has two games under their belt, it
didn't mean anything to Onekama JV Portagers on Tuesday night as they
fought hard for a 63-54 win over the visiting Traverse City Christian
Sabres. Leading the Portagers in scoring was Ryan Miller with 23 points,
19 rebounds, three assists. Joe Kosiboski contributed 19 points to go
along with six rebounds and two assists. Parker Johnson added
eight points off the bench to go along with five |
rebounds and four assists.
Jake Matthews
had five points. Zac Gilbert added four points. Drew Griswold had two
points and two assists. Chase Calloway had a basket to go along with 11
rebounds and three blocks. Traverse City Christian was led by Jason
Send's 21 points. The Portagers travel down to Custer to take on the
Mason County Eastern Cardinals on Friday night in West Michigan D League
action.
