night in varsity basketball action, the Portagers
traveled to Brethren for their third conference face
off. Despite a resilient effort, the Portagers
couldn't overcome the Bobcat runs that came late in
the 2nd quarter and throughout the 3rd quarter,
finishing the game with a 58-41 defeat. Marlee
Herkelrath finished with 11 pts., 5 boards. Alyssa
Cole finished with 11pts., 7 rebounds, and 6
steals. Ronnie Maidens had 6pts. 6 boards, and
4 steals. |
Stephanie
Ashworth knocked down 7 pts. Bonnie Harthun
finished with 2 pts., 3 assists, 5 rebounds. Kelsey Acker
had 2 pts., and 6 steals. Ginny
Ashworth chipped in 2 pts. Now, 0-5 overall and 0-3 in the
conference, the Portagers continue to move forward
and work hard for they are next in action Tuesday
night against the Lakers of Bear Lake.
