was a close game for the first half, Onekama jumped out
to a 8-2 and had the visiting Brethren Bobcats in a lot
of trouble, but foul trouble eventually caught up to the
host Portagers. Brethren outscored the Portagers, 21-8 in
the third quarter as the West Michigan D League leading,
Brethren Bobcats defeated the Onekama Portagers 50-33 in
Junior Varsity action on Thursday night. |
Leading
Onekama was Stacey Keith with 11 points, five rebounds,
three assists and four steals. Paige Rutowski had six
points, nine rebounds and four steals. Olivia Bolthouse
added six points to go along with pair of steals and
assists. Kieran O'Connor had six points, two rebounds and
three steals. Chelsea Miller had two points and three
rebounds.Carmen Howard rounded out scoring with two
points. The leading scorer for the Brethren Bobcats was
Tasha Maiville with 18 points. |
