| It was a close and competitive game for the Onekama Portagers on Thursday night, but in the end, the visiting Walkerville Wildcats had too much depth and a well balanced scoring as they defeated the host Portagers, 47-39 in JV action. Walkerville led at the end of the first quarter, 13-11, 23-21 at the half. Leading the way for Onekama was Chelsea Miller with 13 points, eight rebounds,four steals and two blocks. | Kieran O'Connor had eight points, three rebounds. Stacey Keith had seven points, five rebounds, three assists, three steals and two blocks. Olivia Bolthouse had six points and two steals. Carmen Howard had five points to go along with five rebounds and two steals. Paige Rutowski contributed with four rebounds and two steals in the losing effort. |
