In order to be a successful team, you have to be able to handle the pressure when you have a lead late in a game. On Tuesday night, the Onekama Portgers did exactly that as they defeated the Manistee Catholic Sabers, 46-40 in non-league action. The Portagers outscored the Sabers, 15-8 in the first quarter. MCC came back in the second quarter by outscoring Onekama, 14-8. In the second half, the host Portagers came out and outscored the Sabers, 23-18. Leading the way in scoring for Onekama was Chelsea Miller with 15 points, nine rebounds and two assists. | Stacey

Carmen Howard had eight points, five rebounds and four
steals. Olivia Bolthouse contributed seven points, four
rebounds, two assists and four steals. Kieran O'Connor
had four points and four rebounds. Paige Rutowski had
four rebounds and two steals in the winning effort.
Manistee Catholic Central was led by M. Johnson with 12
