Onekama Middle School Portagers Top Baldwin

Great game last night boys!! We came away with a
hard fought 28-20 victory over the Baldwin Panthers. This was our first
win against the Panthers in two years !! After a strong offensive first
half the Portagers came together and showed some defensive strength by a
couple of key interceptions, tackles in the backfield, guys staying in
position, & some nice sticks ! Very nice TEAM EFFORT !! Next week we
tangle with the Bobcats from Brethren at home 6pm. Brethren is short on
numbers this year and are only able to field an 8-man team so our games
with Brethren will be 8 man ball instead of the traditional 11 man. So
stayed tuned Portager fans…this has all the ingredients of being a fast
