The
Onekama seventh grade opened their basketball season tonight at home
against county rival the Manistee Catholic Central Sabers. The young
Portagers were behind by a score of 2-5 after 1 quarter, but from there
on the Sabers were too fast for the Portagers, and the 7th grade boys
lost their home opener by a score of 6-33. |
Scoring for the Portgers was
Nick Deleon, Logan Fogarty and Cameron Renwick with 2 pts each. Other member of
the 7th grade boys basketball team are Mitchel Clarke No. 10; John
M. Schoedel No.13;
Brandon Beckstein No.23; Levi Mattison No. 25, and
Michael Meadow No. 12.
