9/8 MCE at Onekama In the 7th grade game the the young lady portagers won by a score of 36 to 16 over MCE. Stacey Keith led the young Portagers in scoring with 16 points followed by Chelsea Miller and Oliva Bothhouse with 6 and Lucie Salyer with 4 and Anna Veverica, Mary Reyes added 2 points each. They are coached by Mr. John Burtch but he was out of town so Mr. Duane Keith was their coach tonight. Photographs
9/10 Brethren Away The 7th & 8th grade games schedule last Wednesday 9/10/03 against Brethren at Brethren were cancelled until a later date.
9/15 Walkerville Home The 7th graders played the Walkerville Wildcats at home and scared the wildcats off with a easy 29 to 9 victory over the cats as John Burtch saw his team get there 2nd victory of the season. Leading the Lady Portagers were Stacey Keith with 19, and Erin Brown, Page Rutowski, and Mallory Mattson added 2 points each
9/17 Pentwater Home The 7th graders took on the Pentwater Falcons at home and lost by a score of 20 to 26 to the Falcons for there first lost of the season. Leading the way for the Lady Portagers was Stacey Keith with 12 points and Robin Savory and Alex Callaway each put in 4 points.
9/22 Freesoil  
9/24 Bear Lake Away In the game at Bear Lake, the 8th grade played one half and the 7th grade the other as Bear Lake didn't have enough players for 2 full games the OHS Lady Portagers won by a score of 25 to 22.
9/29 Baldwin Home On Monday 9/29/03 the 7th grader Lady Portagers took on the Baldwin Panthers at home and came away an easy 25 to 6 win over the young Lady Panthers and there record went to 3-1 Stacey Keith tossed in 8 points, Lucey Salyor added 7, and Alex Callaway and Chelsea Miller hit for 4 points each and Oliva Bolthouse added 2 points. 10/1 Brethren Home The 7th grade girls took on Brethren at home and defeated them by a score of 25 to 10 . Leading the Lady Portagers was Stacey Keith with 12 points, Alex Callaway tossed in 6, Chelsea Milller hit for 5 and Lucie Salyer added 2 points
10/6 MCE at MCE On the 10/06/03 the 7th graders traveled to MCE and played the Lady Cardinals and won. Leading the Young Ladies in scoring was Alex Callaway and Lucie Salyer with 4 points each and Stacey Keith, Chelsea Miller, and Paige Rutowski all had 2 each.
10/13 Brethren 10/13/03 the 7th graders took on the Lady Bobcats from Brethren and defeated them by a score of 22 to 14. Chelsea Miller burned the nets with 12 points and Stacey Keith added 5, Lucie Salyer tossed in 2, Mallory Mattison 1 and some young lady portager had 2 more points.
10/15 Tournament On 10/15/03 the Young Lady Portagers won there first game of the WMD tournament at Bear Lake as Bear Lake 7th graders didn't have a team.
10/18 Tournament On Saturday 10/18/03 the Young Lady Portagers traveled back to take on Brethren in the Championship game and won the game by a score of 29 to 21 to come away with a nice 1st place plaque to put in the trophy case. Leading the way for the young ladies on Saturday morning were Stacey Keith & Chelsea Miller. They both ripped the nets for 10 points each, They were followed by Paige Rutowski with 4, Lucie Salyer chipped in with 3 and Alex Callaway tossed in 2 points.

10/20 Frankfort at Frankfort Monday the 10/20/03 the 7th graders traveled to Frankfort to take on the Lady Panthers and came away with a victory. Leading the young ladies to victory were Stacey Keith & Olivia Bolthouse with 7 points each, Alex Callaway added 6 points , Chelsea Miller tossed in 5, Paige Rutowski netted 4 , Connie Veverica, Lucie Salyer and Robyn Savory chipped in with 2 points each
10/22 Manistee at home On Wednesday 10/22/03 the 7th graders were home against the Manistee Chippewas and lost in a very close game 18 to 22 as they were ahead at the half by a score of 10 to 6.and just got outscored in the second half. Burning the nets for 12 points was Stacey Keith , adding 4 was Olivia Bolthouse and Chelsea Miller and Paige Rutowski added 1 point each.

The Next and final game of the season for the 7th graders is Monday 10/27/03 at MCC against the Lady Sabers
