The 6th Grade chose a composer that intrigued them. After researching their lives and writing a short paper, the students had the opportunity to portray them in a dramatic skit.

Derek Rosen portrayed Beethoven as he conducted the Symhony No. 9. Ryan Miller, Cody Sievert, and Chad Tolin were the "Orchestra." Beethoven's famous "Ode to Joy" excerpt is included in this famous work.

Chad Tolin wrote that "Beethoven was encouraged to become a musician because of his father. His father was a very mean to him and would beat him if he didn't practice enough."

Derek Rosen wrote, "Beethoven died at 5:45 in the afternoon of March 26, 1827. At the moment of his last breath, a raging thunderstrom filled his room with light and thunder. At his funeral there were among 20,000- 30,000 people."
