Tough Night for JV
Portagers
Tonight we played at home against the
Grand Traverse Academy and lost in two with the scores 7-25 and
16-25. We played a third game for more playing time and
practice. Faith Moerdyk scored 3 points and was serving at 100%,
had 10 digs and 5 sets. Kaylan Fitch scored 2 points with 23
digs with one spike and one set with a tip. Claire Harvey added
a point with 9 digs and 4 spikes. Becky Cunningham served up 1
point with 100% serving with 15 digs, 2 spikes, 5 sets and 1
tip.

Sami Tiefenthal scored 1 point with 14 digs and
one spike. Sierra Warner added a point with 100% serving 11 digs, with
10 sets and 1 tip. Emily Hippensteel had 100% serving with one dig.
Samantha Monroe had 2 digs and one set. This was a tough night for the
Lady Portagers on the court, just couldn't get the game under control
and play our game. We struggled with many thing on the floor and
continue to work on our game. Our serving was going well but just
couldn't get our passing game going tonight.
