JV TeamTops TCH in Three

Tonight we hosted the Traverse City Home School, we were able to get in three game, we won the first two with the scores 25-19 and 25-18. We then played the third game for more playing time. Faith Moerdyk led the team in serving with 10 points and 6 aces, she also had 6 digs and 1 set and 2 tips. Sierra Warner added 8 points for her team with 7 passes and 3 set, two tips and one assist. Kaylan Fitch scored 6 points with 5 of them ace serves, 11 digs 2 spikes and 1 set with 1 tip. Claire Harvey scored 3 points with 1 ace serve, 7 digs and 1 spike with 1 set. Becky Cunningham added 2 points with 1 ace serve, 11 digs with 1 spike and 2 set with 4 tips. Emalee Schultz added 2 point with 1 ace serve, 7 digs with 1 spike and 1 set. Emily Hippensteel score 2 points with 3 passes and Sam Monroe helped with 4 digs and 1 set.

 This was a good night for serving with many girls scoring points for the Portagers. We still continue to work on stuff as we face the Mesick Bulldogs.
