JV Portagers Attain 16th Win February 25th
For the first few minutes it looked like the young Portager's
had a game on their hands, but the tempo seemed to change with the blink
of an eye and the scoreboard for the home team started to light up,
while the visitor lights started to darken. This time it was the
Cardinals of MCE that found themselves on the losing end 73-49. |
Bryce Reckow and Quinn Matthews led the scoring with 23 and 22 points
respectfully, followed by Logan Fogarty with 8 pts, Brandon Bohannon
with 7 pts and Joe Eno with 6 pts. Also scoring for Onekama were Nick
DeLeon with two baskets and Derek Hobart connected on a 3 pointer. The
Portagers also controlled the boards, with Curtis McKenney, Hobart and
Fogarty each pulling down 8 rebounds along with 5 boards each for Reckow
and Matthews. |
