In Monday night's match-up
between the Onekama Portagers and the Brethren Bobcats, the
Portagers were able to claim win #7 of the season, improving their
record to 7-5 overall. Following a slow start in the first half,
the Portagers were able to refocus and come back from being down by
a 10 point deficit in the 2nd quarter. The final score at the
buzzer was 51-40.
Leading the scoring attack for
the Portagers was Sherece Revolt with 17 points. Also scoring for
the Portagers were Katie Prielipp with 10 points, Lexi Howard with 9
points, Taylor Hagen with 8 points, Diamond Kimpel with 5 points,
and Brooke Sedelmaier with 2 points.
The Portagers will next see
action on Thursday, January 24th on the road against Mason County
Eastern. Tip off is at 6 pm.
