The JV Lady Portagers played very
well together with some close games with the scores 29-27, 21-25,
12-15. The first game had many volleys with each team scoring back
and forth with the Portagers coming out on time. In the second game
they lost in another close game. In the third game the girls worked
really hard but couldn't pull off the win. Sherece Revolt was the
teams top scorer with 10 points, 24 digs, 3 spikes with 10 sets and
1 tip. Skylar Wisniski scored 10 points for her team with 100%
serving with 3 passes.

Ashley Hobart scored 4 points with
3 ace serves, 21 digs, and 7 spikes with 2 aces. Anna Veverica and
Katie Prielipp both scored 3 points each, Anna also had 17 passes.
Katie had 6 passes with 5 sets. Elizabeth Schoedel added 2 points
with 1 ace, 18 digs, 3 spikes and 3 sets. Erin Brown added 1 point
with 1 ace serve, 4 passes and 2 spikes. Ashley Schultz and Andria
Reckow help their team with defense. Tonight was an unsetting lost
and the girls really tried to work hard as a team. ~Coach
