Onekama Lady Portagers
played Bear Lake Lakers Wednesday night and lost in three games
with the low scoring of 14-25, 14-25, 9-25. The team struggle
all night and couldn't get our passes up to the setter. Kelsey
Acker lead the team in scoring with 7points with one ace serve,
13 passes, 4 spikes and was the teams top setter with 19 sets.
Stephanie Ashworth added 3points with 2 ace serves, 16 digs, 7
spikes, 1 tip and 4 assists. Meghan Nesburg scored 2 points was
the teams lead passes with 34, 4 spikes and 1 kill, and 1
assists.

Chelsea Miller and Stacey Keith each
scored 1 point each. Chelsea had 14 digs, 3 spikes with 1 kill,
and 2 tips. Stacey also had 18 passes, 1 kill, 17 sets and 5
tips with 2 assists. Ronnie Maidens helped her team with 20
passes, 1 spike, 18 sets, 2tips, and 3 assists. Alyssa Cole had
6 passes, 5 spikes with 3 kills, 7 assists. Julie Schoedel,
Marlee Herkelrath, Olivia Bolthouse and Paige Rutowski helped
their them on defense. The team didn't work together and
nothing seem to work right for the Portagers. Tonight was also
