Mesick: It was a very slow start by the home team as the visiting
Mesick Bulldogs jumped out to an early lead at the end of the first
quarter. But, the Portagers came out and played the next 24 minutes like
their season was on the line as they defeated the Mesick Bulldogs 52-36
in non-league action. Ryan Miller had 18 points, nine rebounds, six
blocks, five assists and four steals. Zac Gilbert had 10 points and five
rebounds.

Chase
Calloway had eight points, four rebounds and two steals. Drew Griswold
had five points and four assists. Joe Kosiboski had four
points, four rebounds and four steals. Thomas Koon added three points.
Dan Gillespie and
Jake Matthews each added two points to round out scoring. Mesick was led
by Ty Hermatz with 14 points. Onekama hosts Brethren on Tuesday night.
