| It was a game that the whistle kept being heard. Onekama jumped out to a 10-0 lead and found themselves in foul trouble. The Portagers pulled away in the second half and defeated Benzie Central's Freshmen 54-44 on Parents' Night. Ryan Miller led the Portagers with 18 points, four steals, four rebounds and three assists. Joe Kosiboski had 11 points, 10 rebounds and two assists. | Zac Gilbert had 10 points, seven rebounds and two steals. Drew Griswold had seven points. Chase Callaway had four points, 10 rebounds and two assists. Jake Matthews and Thomas Koon each had two points to round out scoring for the Portagers. Koon added six rebounds. Troy Bailey led Benzie with 11 points. Onekama (9-7) travels to Manton on Tuesday. ~Coach Harju |
