The error bug and base running mistakes cost the Portagers a win in the game one losing 10-9 to Mesick bulldogs.  The Portagers pounded out 16 hits with Bonnie going 3-4, Tara 2-3, Steph 3-4, Stacey and Kieran 2-4 and Ginny, Alyssa, Chelsea and Stevie all adding hits.  " Stevie pitched a very good game - Good enough to  win! " 

 In Game 2, pitcher Stevie Gillespie took a hard line drive to the knee forcing her to the bench.  Stacey Keith took the mound and pitched a great game leading the Portagers to a 7-2 win.  The Portagers had 11 hits with Bonnie, Tara, Steph, Alyssa and Kieran getting a pair of hits and Stacey adding a single.  Stacey pitched a great game and our defense played flawless behind our freshman hurler."
