Tonight in varsity basketball action, the Portagers were defeated by MCE with a final of 25-50.  In comparison to the first game of the season, the Portagers improved in both Free Throw and shot %, but didn't perform to the best of their potential.  Ronnie Maidens led scorers with 9 points and 1 assist.  Alyssa Cole had 5 points, 1 steal, 3 rebounds.  Marlee Herkelrath and Bonnie Harthun each finished with 4 points.  Bonnie also had 3 steals. Ginny Ashworth had 3 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists.  Kelsey Acker finished with 4 rebounds and 1 assist. 

The Portagers are now 0-2 overall, and 0-1 in the conference.

Wednesday practice is in Bear Lake---JV practice 4:30-6:30-Van leaves Onekama parking lot at 4:15

Varsity--game film 4:45-5:15   Practice 5:30-7:30--After practice the school van can transport anyone back to Onekama
