Portagers First Home Game of the Year For the first time this year, the Onekama Portagers got off to a great start and that resulted in an Onekama Portager victory 38-27 on Thursday night. Playing their first home game on the new floor,Onekama led 13-4 at the end of the first quarter, 21-13 at the half. And outscored the Falcons 17-14 in the second half. |
The Portagers were led by a
well-balanced scoring attack led by freshmen Chelsea
Miller with 12 points. Freshmen Stacey Keith had nine
points and Olivia Bolthouse had eight points, lone
sophomore on the night, Kieran O'Connor had seven points.
Paige Rutowski had two points to round out scoring on the
night. Onekama (3-5) host Mason County Eastern on Tuesday in West Michigan D League action. |
