Onekama's Elementary Students Enjoyed Ski Day

On Tuesday February 15 we went to Crystal Mountain. I had a blast skiing with Sylvia and some more of my friends. It was funny when me and Mckenna crashed on the ski lift. I tried to back up but the chair still bumped me and swept me up . I still hit Mckenna and she fell. They had to stop the chair lift and help Mckenna up. Tuesday February 15 we went to Crystal Mountain. The bus left at 8:30 am. When we got up there we had to put are stuff in the lodge. Then my friends and I picked a spot to sit. Then we got called to get are rents on. I had to go try on another pair of boots.  After that a man had to fix my skis. Then Katie and I had to go to Totem Park. After that some of my good friends went on Clipper.  Some of there names are Chloe, Katie, Maggie, and Hope. We went lots of times. A few hours later we had to return our rents.  After that we left at 2:15 pm. Thank you PTO for the trip to Crystal Mountain. ~Katelyn Mc.

I went to Crystal Mountain with my class. When I got my pass I went with Mr. Beeman on the chair lift.  It was scary at first but I got the hang of it.  I skied with Amanda, her mom, Sylvia, and Olivia.  It was the funnest time I have had at Crystal Mountain!  After the chairlift we went on another chairlift named The Clipper.   We went on the trail named J.B. That trail went through the woods.  There was a little girl on the trail that we had to avoid.  It was fun at Crystal Mountain. ~McKenna I.

I went skiing on good ski day. I went with ben james and trent. I had a lot of fun. I was snowboarding not skiing. I go skiing on thurdays and sundays. James he had an awesome time. We went on a lot of hills. They were fun going with my best friends. We ate at 1:00pm we had some food than we went to go skiing again. We were about to go to the Buck the ski left but we had to go. We had left at 2:15pm. We had a lot of fun going skiing with my friends. I hope we can do it soon. We were with my dad and some another people. We had a fun time. THANK YOU PTO.  ~Aric

    On February 15, we went skiing at Crystal Mountain. I went with my dad and my friends but mostly with Hope. We were in the back for an hour or more. Me and Hope had fun in the back. We were also with Chloe, Katie, and Katelyn M . I had a great time!! Thank you PTO for the trip to Crystal Mountain!! ~Maggie D.

Good behavior ski day was so much fun! It was a little icy but fun for the most part. Can't wait till next year.........Oh wait I can’t go next year. ~Jeremiah T.

On Tuesday February 15 my class went to Crystal Mountain. My mom went and I stayed with her all day. I was skiing with Katie, Chloe, Katlyn, and Maggie. We had so much fun! When I went to good behavior ski day on February 15  I skied with Amanda, Mckenna, Oivia L, and Amanda's mom. We went on the clipper. Then we ate lunch in the lodge. I loved skiing with my friends. Thank you PTO for the trip to Crystal Mountain! ~Sylvia M.

We went to Good Behavior Ski Day on Tuesday February 15. At Crystal Mountain. My mom and I went to the lodge. then got our skis on and  went skiing. Then we went to eat the food.  it was good. Thank you PTO for the trip to Crystal Mountain! ~DeeAnn

 My class and I had behavior ski day on Tuesday February 15. The bad part is that the 5th grade got split up. We went on Tuesday and the other 5th grade went on Wednesday. It was really ice Tuesday. It was really hot too. I love behavior ski day!  ~Jacob M.

 My class and I went to Crystal Mountain on Tuesday February, 15. The buses left at 8:30. We got there at 9:15. Our class got all of our stuff on and went out to Totem Park. We had to do a test before we could go on the bigger hills. I got my pass before I even went down the Bunny Hill. That was because if you get to go on Thursdays you don't have to do it. While My Dad and I were waiting for some of my friends we went with Mrs. Wisniski and Chloe down the big slopes! When my friend was done we went on the Clipper then on Main Street! It was awesome! After that my dad and I went down these slopes that they didn't want to go on. I went in the lodge to eat after that. I ate with a friend named Mason. After that there was a friend named Ashlee that was her first time skiing was still on the Bunny Hill so I was on there half of the time helping her. We went up to Loki and went down a green hill! She went down to Clipper with Chloe after that. Then I went with Mrs. Bennett. After 20 minutes it was time to go. I put back all my supplies and got on the bus. Then we went to school. I want to thank the PTO for letting us go on this trip. I can't wait till next years Good Behavior Ski Day! ~Katie B.

Good behavior ski day was fun and when it was over everybody’s ankles hurt really bad. I rode the clipper about six or seven times maybe. My favortie trail was little Vincent. ~Rylan C.

When I went on Good Behavior Ski Day I went with D'angelo and Aric. I used my money to buy chicken and soda for lunch. When we went down Main Street I felt like I was flying. We also went down some awesome trails to with Mr. Bradford. When it was time to go and i put my boots on it felt like they were too small!
