Assignment:
Fifth grade students were asked to over the school website,
chose a favorite photo, placed it in a MS Word document, and
write about it.
This is
the first day of school reading a book. On the first day of
school I was very shy. I was also very nervous. On the first
day of school I made two friends. I hardly even talked to
any body. the only one I hardly even talked to was Kiara.
she was very nice to me. On the first day I learned a lot. I

The punt, pass, kick, was very fun. I was in the
ten and elevens group. When I kicked it I used a football
tee. It went farther than my pass and punt. My punt was bad
because it hit the side of my foot. The punt, pass, and kick
was a really good experience. ~Jacob
The Onekama School had a punt pass and kick
competition. This is me punting a football. I punted it
about 25 yards. John Acton won the ten and eleven group
which I was in. He beat me by about 90 points. I’m wearing
my Pop Warner football jersey. I had a fun time at the punt
pass and kick competition. ~Tighe
I’m playing basketball this year. In this picture
we are playing Brethren. Brethren was hard to beet. But we
beet them. The score was 24 to 6. The people in the picture
are Lauryn and Grace. Also in the picture me and 24 are
jumping for the ball. I hand a lot of fun at the Brethren

Spirit day was funny. We went to the Pep Assembly.
The Pep Assembly was really funny. I loved the bubble gum
contest the winner was Amber. Then Taler, Kassidy and Jacob
got to face paint people. The Pep Assembly was fun. ~McKayla

On
November 3rd we versed brethren. That’s me that
has the basketball. Well in till I dropped it and then one
of our team mates got it. Whoo hoo at least brethren did not
get it. = No ifence) I was very aggressive that game I got
the ball like five times. Lauryn made a lot of baskets. I
had lots of fun that game. I hope we have another one like

The Halloween party was so cool. I had so much fun
me and Kelly where the same thing for Halloween. At the
Halloween party almost all the Bowens popped. We had monster
blood to drink and had lot of food to eat. When we opened
the window it smiled like skunk. That is what I like about
the Halloween party. ~Ashlee
Our 5th
grad class had an awesome HALLOWEEN PARTY. I was a Niangua.
My mom was prefacer I am bugger. That was a fun day. I got
pied in the faces was very good . I pied Taler. Kelly and
Ashlee were devil. The Halloween party was good . ~Matt
The mini
laptops are great. Lauryn and I are in the picture, we are
playing on the new mini laptops. They are cool because they
are touch screen. The one thing I don’t about the mini
laptops is that sometimes the whole screen does not show up,
that’s because they are so small. Another thing that I
didn’t like was that that it is hard to type. The mini
laptops were cool otherwise. ~Michele |
