Giving Tree Project 2006

This year the Onekama PTO, The Onekama Lions Club and National City Bank are combining efforts for the Giving Tree Project for families within our district. We also have a Manistee County 4H Club adopting an entire family!

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the office at 231-889-5521. Mary Bergren and Karry Gauthier

We have trees in the elementary entry way with tags listing items that the families need.

If you are interested in helping, please stop in the student services office and sign up for a tag. Please bring the wrapped gift back to the office by Wednesday, December 20th. We will put a name tag on the gift.

In lieu of book/gift exchanges this year, classes are encouraged to help a family by choosing tags from the Giving Tree.

Thank you in advance for your generosity and participation during this season.

Miss Schultz's  K-1 class is collecting personal care items.

Nov. 27 Note: Mrs. Ramsey and Ms Turk are coordinating a change war between the 6th and 7th grade classes. They will use the money raised to buy gifts for the tree.  They collected $70 in one day and have 4 tags.

The 2nd and 3rd graders had a Pajama Party Dec. 8th to raise money for the Giving Tree.  The kids brought in a donation of $1.00 to wear their PJ’s.  All of the money collected will go towards buying gifts for the Giving Tree.
