The Lorax and Chapter 4 in our science book are alike because they both have the same idea. Please do not litter. Do not pollute. In The Lorax Mr. Once-ler polluted by putting gopy stuff in the pond, cutting the truffula trees and polluting the air. Amy, grade 4 | These fourth grade science students compared the chapter they were reading in their science book with Dr. Seuss's book, The Lorax | One way to stop pollution is to quit dumping trash in the wild. In the story The Lorax, the Lorax was trying to convince the Once-ler to quit cutting down the trees. He was polluting with smog. Oil spills can kill a lot of fish and plants that are in the water. In the story the Lorax was trying to save some of the trees. Bryce, grade 4 |
We should not be cutting all the trees and killing animals. We should not put stuff in the water and not put pollution in the sky. We should not be pollute the earth. We should not kill the animals. .Hunter, grade 4 | The Lorax and chapter 4 in our science book are the same in a way because the oil spill and the smog are both pollution. They both have chemicals in them that could hurt someone. Another way that they're the same is the seagulls and the Swomee Swons were hurt by the pollution. Rebecca, grade 4 | The story Mrs. Eldridge read to us was The Lorax. The story was about a Once-ler who came to a good place and made it bad. Josh, grade 4 |
