During the first week of December the fifth graders wrote questions and conducted interviews with Miss Schultz Kindergarten. 

Interviewing Lacee
Alan

Lacee is in Miss Shultz class. Miss Schultz teaches kindergarten. On Thanksgiving at school Lacee made a hat.  It was an Indian hat. For Thanksgiving Lacee went to her grandmas.  Her favorite food on Thanksgiving is mashed potatoes.

        At school Lacee made butter, and she had to shake it a lot to make butter.  Lacee said she really likes Thanksgiving.  Lacee is a nice girl.

Interviewing Mackenzie
Brooke

          My child was Mackenzie. Her teacher is Miss Schultz. Miss Schultz is really nice. They ate some turkey . It was really good. Mackenzie wore a pilgrim hat.

          They made turkeys. Mackenzieâs turkey was big and colorful. Butter was made by shaking cream in a jug. They had a lot of fun that day.

Interview Jessica
Brooke

   I talked to Jessica about thanksgiving she said that she made a turkey that had stars, lights, beads, and one bulb. She used the colors white, yellow, blue, green, and red. She was a pilgrim and she said that they wear hats. Jessica took turns shaking the butter with a friend. She thought it was fun because they had a pi–ata. Her turkeyâs name was Michelle. Jessica was not shy she would say everything till she had no more to say. Jessica had a lot to say about Thanksgiving.

Interviewing Trevor
Malana

        The person I interviewed was Trevor he told me that they made turkeys and then he told me how to make them. First you color on a plate. Next you take your shoes off. Then you have to cut the shape of the feet out and then and then put them out in the hallways. He was a pilgrim. He made his own soup, bread, and butter. He had fun making the turkeys and he said that the bread was really good.              Yes they made the soup, and he said that he put the soup into a bowl and then cooked it. On Thanksgiving he had turkey and pie. He played games like hockey with the family. I asked him how to spell his name he said he spells it like this Trevor. I liked working with him and I would like to interview him again. He was a little bit shy. But he was still fun.  

Chris interviews Alexa

          On Monday Dec.1, I interviewed Alexa from Miss Shultzâs kindergarten class. She said her class dressed up like pilgrims and Indians. She was a Pilgrim. They ate soup and bread. She said it was good. They also made butter for the bread. She thought it was fun. All the other food Miss Shultz made.

Interviewing Faith
Nolan

        Faith is a kindergartner. She is in Mrs. Schultz class. Faith was shy when she entered the room. I couldnât get her to talk about Thanksgiving so I asked her about Christmas. She likes to go sledding in winter. 

Faith wants a scooter for Christmas and she got two scarves for Thanksgiving. She went to her grandmaâs house for Thanksgiving. She saw her grandmaâs dog. Faith is a very interesting person once you get her to talk. I hope she gets a scooter for Christmas.

Interviewing Hunter
Ryan

    Hunter went down state for thanksgiving. He stayed at his Grandmaâs house. He had a lot of fun. They had a thanksgiving feast in their classroom.  They made soup with vegetables, and he said the soup was good. He was an Indian. They made turkeys by cutting out paper in different shapes. Then they glued them together. I had fun interviewing Hunter.

Interview Austin
Cameron

Austin helped make soup. He put carrots, peas, green beans, and corn in the soup. He said that it was very fun and hopes he can do it again next year. They had to cook the soup. He didnât get to cook.

After they got done eating they played a game. They played hunt the turkey. Nobody won, he said it was just about having fun. Two people hide the turkeys and the other people find the turkeys that they hid. He said he had a lot of fun on Thanksgiving at school.
