NOTE: During the first week of December the fifth graders wrote questions and conducted interviews with Miss Schultz Kindergarten class. We hope to have all interviews completed and placed on these web pages by December 5th.

My Interview with Courtney
Paul

          Today I interviewed Courtney. I interviewed her on the Thanksgiving dinner at our church. She told me that she had two peasies of ham and turkey. She told me that she had apple cider, and she got to play with Alyssa and me. She also got to have eat a lot of food.

          At the end of the dinner our pastor gave a nice speech. He said to be safe on the roads and to come for the evening worship. So that is what she told me. Have a fun time Courtney.

Interviewing Kylie

My interview with Kylie went well. She told me she made the soup out of potatoes, carrots , salad, green beans, and corn. She acted kind of shy. She also said she said she didnāt have turkey. Instead she had ham for Thanksgiving. Kylie said that she had a feast because it was Thanksgiving and she only had three days of school. I liked this interview.

Interview Zach
Tim  

          At Thanksgiving Zach, a kindergarten, ate ham. He ate one piece of ham, and it was cut in half. He also had stuffing, but didnāt eat it. One thing he likes about Thanksgiving is getting to eat. Another is getting to play outside. He likes turkey too.               

 Zach says he knows about the pilgrims, and the Mayflower. He knows about squantum too. He knows that squantum taught the pilgrims to plant crops. He doesnāt know what pilgrim means.

Tommy Interviews Kamryn

          I got to interview Kamryn. Kamryn was very shy. He said that they had soup, water, and bread in his classroom for a feast in his class. The soup was made of vegetables. He wore an Indian hat. The hats were made of feathers, glue, and staples. He said the feast was good. He also made a turkey. The turkey was made of filters.

Interviewing Braden
Ashley

          I got to interview Braden. Braden wasn't there on  Thanksgiving. He was in Minnesota with his sister, mom, and dad. He was there to visit grandma, cousin, and uncle. He played a lot with his cousin. His cousin helped build a castle. It took 3 days to get there. He spent 5 days there. He goes there every November. When he was there he ate turkey it was a big dinner. He got presents too. He had a lot of fun. He's five years old. It wasn't easy to get words out of him though. He wasn't that shy.

Interviewing Kyler
Jake

Kyler, my child, went to his papaās for Thanksgiving. He ate turkey at his papaās. He also drank coffee. Kyler stayed at his papaās for 3 days. He enjoyed his Thanksgiving.

        Kyler really likes turkey. All he ate at the feast at his papaās was turkey. He was not at school for the thanksgiving feast. Nor was he here for the turkey making. He really liked his visit to his papaās.

Interview Courtney
Lauren

          When I interviewed Courtney it went well. She was not shy at all she was a big talker she did great.  I asked her if she was an Indian or a pilgrim she said that she was an Indian. Then I asked Courtney what colors she added to her turkey she said red , yellow, blue, green, purple, and brown. She said it was fun. I asked her how long it took her cream to turn into butter she said about 40 minutes. She said that her arms got tired but she kept doing it. My interview went well.

Interviewing Jacki
Maeve

          My person was Jackie. She is 5 years old, and she has no brothers or sisters. She was an Indian for Thanksgiving because she likes feathers. She likes feathers because she can tickle people with them. On Thanksgiving it was her moms birthday.

        In Jacki's classroom she has 5 stations, red, pink, purple, orange, and blue. She is in the green station. She was wearing a necklace to show what station. I had fun interviewing my child.
