Basketball Tournament The first team we played was Kaleva. We beat them 15-10. I only scored 4 points this game, Ryan scored 2, Nolan scored 4, and Todd scored 5. The game was very exciting. The first time we played them we just barely beat them in overtime. We played man to man the whole game. That just shut them down. I’m very glad we won that game. The second game we played we went against Pentwater. We also beat them 14-5. I only scored 2 points the whole game. The first time we played them they beat us. This game we played man to man again. We shutdown their main player number 15. We won by 9 points this time. We learned that man to man can shutdown a zone. I’m very glad we won that game against Pentwater. We are now in the championship game for the title. Against
Wellston Last Saturday we had a tournament against Wellston and Pentwater. Jared made one point at the free throw line. I made 11 points against Wellston. We are now in the championship against Kaleva. They have taller people now and better. We are in second place, and we might win. Against Pentwaterby Jared Last Saturday we had a tournament against Wellston and Pentwater, and today we got revenge on Pentwater. We made 6 points first. Then they scored 2. Then the end we won by a lot. Now were in the champion chip. |

The first time we played them in the season we barely beat them. The score was 20-21 after overtime. We played better because we played a good man to man. The game was very exciting. The second team we play was Pentwater. I liked this game more because we knew it would be tough. I scored 6; Cam scored 2, and Nolan 6. (We think) We won this game by messing up there zone offence with a man to man. We learned that a man to man can shut down a offence. Tournament The basketball tournament was very hard. The first team we played had already played us once before and that game had gone into overtime but we just beat them. In the tournament we beat them again. The second team we played had beaten us already 18-14. In the tournament we beat them. They were both very hard games. Next Saturday we have the championship game against Wellston. The basketball games were both hard and rewarding.
