Final Score: Onekama 21 - Brethren 20

We won against Brethren on Saturday. I played forward almost the whole game. Except in the fourth period. It was a close game but we won it. I scored the points that sent us in overtime. Ryan made the point to win it. At the end of the fourth period it was 16-16. I’m very glad that we won our game on Saturday.

January 31st Basketball Game

We beat Brethren Saturday night in Onekama. It was a close game all night. We were down 14-16 with less then 3 minutes. Cam scored and then that took us in overtime. With 12 seconds to go I got fouled. The score was 20-20. I got 2 shots. I missed my first 4 free throws. Then I missed my 5th. My final shot came and I made it. The score was then 20-21. We were wining. They did not score in that 12 seconds. We won the game.

We won our 3rd game. We were in overtime and the score was 18 to 18. They shot a 2 pointer and made it. Then, we shot a 2 pointer and made it. It was tied again 20 to 20. They made a foul on Ryan, so he shot 2 shots and made one. The time was almost out Cam shot a 3 pointer at the last second, but he missed. We still won our game. The final score was 21 to 20.

When we verse Brethren we won by one point. I scored two points. It was a hard game. That was the game when we verse Brethren.

The basketball game was fun to watch. The 5 people that play basketball in my class are Tommy, Paul, Ryan, Nolan, and Cameron. The way that the Onekama team won was that Ryan scored a free throw and they won the game with 12 seconds left to go. It was very exciting to watch, and it was fun.

Last Saturday we played the Brethren bobcats. We really did not beat them. The score was 18 to 18 witch made us go into over time. Witch was somewhat embarrassing. So we scored a two point and so did the bobcats. Finally they fouled some one and Ryan shot two times, and he missed the first and made the second. Then the time ran out and we won 21 to 20.

At the Saturday game, the sixth grade cheerleaders and I cheered. Ashley and Malana, the other fifth grade cheerleaders, couldn’t make it. It was a tie. They went in to over time. Ryan won the game for them by making a free throw. Onekama won.

Our basketball game was really fun. I scored 6 points and I got fouled twice for 4 shots but only made 2. In the end of over time Ryan scored the winning point on a foul shot with 4 seconds on the clock. I fouled out after that to block a shot that could of one the game.

Saturday we had an awsome game. First we were wining by 6. Then in the 4th inning we tied. Then we went in overtime. First Brethern scored then we scored. Then 30 seconds left and Ryan got fowled on and Ryan missed the first shot and he made the last shot, and we won!
