The
Police Cars
Cameron
Yesterday on the
way to Big Al’s we rode in a Police Car. It had a
modified laptop and we were typing back in forth with the
other Police car ahead of us. Most of us sat in back, but
one sat in the front. Me, Taylor, Nolan, and Jeremy rode
in one car and Logan, Yumi, and Malana rode in the other
car. I like the Police cars a lot.
At Big Al’s I
had a lot of fun. Jeremy was the only one to bring money
so he could play games. I was the only one to get a sub,
all the rest of them got pizza. The best part about it
getting an hour and a half off of school. The police
officers were really nice to all of the kids. This was
the best lunch that I ever had at school.
The reason we got
to go is because we had to write an essay about the
D.A.R.E. Program. We had to take many classes with
Officer Tory. Our last class was in February. At the end
of the year all of the kids had to put on a skit. This
class was really fun and exciting.

On April 28, 2004
Nolan, Cam, Malana, Logan, Jeremy, Yumi, and Taylor went
to Big Al’s. We were chosen because we had the best
D.A.R.E essay. Two boys and girls from each class went to
Big Al’s. Two cop cars came to pick them at Onekama
School.
On the way there
we typed on their lab top and send email back and forth.
When they got there we waited and I played pinball. After
we ate I played the same game again. When it was time to
leave we went in the cop cars and went back to school.

Yesterday April
28, 2004 Taylor, Cam, Malana, Yumi, Nolan, Jeremy, and I
went to Big Al’s. We all had very much fun. Jeremy
played pinball. He kept playing pinball until he ran out
of money. Everybody watched him lose. Cameron was posing
for a picture when a meatball fell out of his sub and got
sauce all over his pants. A bad thing about the cop cars
is that the doors in the back don’t open from the
inside. (I wonder why?)
I had a lot of fun
I will never forget the experience. I liked it a lot and
I would do it again any time. I got to go because I wrote
a good dare essay and I with 7 others won a contest.

 Riding
in a Police Car
Taylor
Yesterday
Nolan, Cameron, Logan, Jeremy, Malana, Yumi, and I went
to Big Al’s for lunch. We got there by riding in cop
cars. On the way there I rode with Malana and Yumi.
Malana got to sit in the front. We rode with Deputy
Torry. He showed us what every thing did in the car. When
we were in the parking lot we got to turn on the siren
and the lights. In the car on they have lab tops and we
got to talk to each other on the lab tops.
The
pizza was really good at Big Al’s. When we were
eating Jeremy picked up his pizza and all the cheese fell
in his mouth then he swallowed all the cheese on
accident. At Big Al’s they had pinball games that
Jeremy was playing. On the way back I rode with Nolan,
Cameron, and Jeremy. I got to sit in the front. Officer
Fitch drove us back. I had a great time at Big Al’s
yesterday.

Yesterday
April 28,2004 seven people got to go to Big Al’s.
The seven people were Nolan, Cameron, Logan, Malana,
Jeremy, Yumi, and Taylor. We got to go to Big Al’s
because we won a D.A.R.E. essay contest. On the way there
Malana, Taylor, and I got to ride in the car with Officer
Torry. The boys Nolan, Cameron, Jeremy, and Logan rode
with the other officer. When we were in the cars we got
to type little sentences on the lap tops to the other car
and they got to send messages back to us. I am glad we
got to go to Big Al’s.
When
we got to Big Al’s we waited for about ten minutes
before we got to eat pizza. I had about 2 1/2 pieces of
pizza and I thought it was really good. We were all
sitting at one table so we were really crowded and we
were spilling things all over the place. When we ate
pizza we ordered 2 pizzas and Cameron ate a meatball sub.
I am so happy I got chosen to go to Big Al’s because
it was really interesting to ride in a police car.

Yesterday
I got to eat at Big Al’s pizza with Nolan, Cameron,
Logan, Jeremy, Yumi, and Taylor. We got to ride in a
police car and I got to sit in the front seat on the way
there. In the police car it was Taylor, Yumi, and I. We
got to type to the other car that the boys were in and
they would type back.
In
the other police car Nolan, Cam, Logan, Jeremy were
riding. Jeremy was in front typing to us. When we got
there, there were already 3 groups of kids from other
schools. Jeremy’s mom gave him 5 dollars to play
games. We all watched him play pinball. It was fun.
