Branches of Government
Today we talked about
the three branches of government and what each one did.
One of the three branches is Legislative Branch.
The Legislative branch has three levels of government: local,
state, and federal. The
local levels of the legislative branch are commissioners, sheriff, and
county clerk. The state government is the state representative and
senators. The federal
government is the U. S. representatives and senators. We also talked about the Judicial Branch, which is another branch of government. The three levels of government are the same as the Legislative Branch local, state, and federal. The local level of government is the District Court. The state level is the Michigan Supreme Court. The federal level is the U.S Supreme Court. The last Branch we talked about is the Executive Branch. The local level is the Mayer at City hall and the president of the village. The state level is Governor Jennifer Granholm, and at the Federal is President George W. Bush. *** 3
